Residential Student Services October Prize Draw Winner

Peter Hubbard (pictured), undergraduate student at the University of Sussex presented with his prize as the winner of the Residential Student Services October Prize Draw presented by Rebecca Novis of Chain Telecom.

Peter was pleasantly surprised to win the prize of £50 cash and £50 credit for his telephone account as he was unaware he was entered into the competition.

Chain Telecom attended the Welcome Weekend at the University displaying at Park Village in September and also teamed up with the University Estates Team during the Fresher’s Fair, giving students the opportunity to learn more about the fantastic services on offer.

As an incentive to all students who added credit to their room telephones throughout September and October, all students were entered into the prize draw and Peter was the lucky winner.

Meeting with Peter to present his prize, he expressed his delight at winning and did not hold back on letting us know what a brilliant service we supply to the students for both outgoing and incoming calls; he said his family was particularly pleased with the low cost of calling him in his room.  

The success of the Residential Student Telecoms has been extraordinary; the volume of both outbound and inbound calls on the 0844 number has already exceeded last year’s totals. In October students received over 60,000 minutes of inbound calls to their rooms. With more incentives coming up in the New Year we hope to keep building on the success of our ongoing partnership with the University of Sussex.
